A Problem Worth Solving
Commercial kitchens were choosing between quality and scale. Freshly made chapatis required skilled labour, time, and constant inconsistency. Existing frozen options relied on preservatives. There had to be a better way.

8 Months of Development
Recipe Development & Testing
Hundreds of test batches. Iterations on flour sourcing, hydration ratios, cooking times, and freezing protocols. Every variable was tested until the result was indistinguishable from home-made — and then tested again.

Nishant's manufacturing expertise shaped a production system that could scale without compromise — automated precision rolling, calibrated cooking, and flash-freezing in seconds, not minutes.

With the recipe and process perfected, Ethical Delights launched with a single mission: to be India's most trusted brand for preservative-free, homestyle flatbreads crafted for consistency and scale.

Ethical Delights was born from a simple frustration: the best flatbreads in India were being made at home, while the ones served in restaurants and catering operations were either inconsistent, laden with preservatives, or both.

Amit had seen this first-hand through his work with Vedaz Organics — the Indian food system had an authenticity problem. Too many products were cutting corners on ingredients to hit price points, and consumers were accepting it because they didn't know better.

Nishant brought a different perspective — 22 years of precision manufacturing across Amazon, BMC Software, and Marvell had taught him that scale and quality are not enemies. With the right process design, you can have both.

Together, they spent 8 months building what neither could have done alone: a production system that treats the flatbread with the respect it deserves, at the volumes commercial kitchens need.

Before starting Ethical Delights, Amit co-founded Vedaaz Organics, introducing A2 milk in glass bottles with reverse logistics to over 25,000 homes. Across every venture, one thing stayed constant: his respect for systems built on trust, ethics, and efficiency.

With Ethical Delights, he wanted to create something that helps kitchens serve fresh without chaos — giving chefs and teams more control, less dependency, and consistent quality every single time.

After over two decades building tech products for Amazon, BMC Software, and Marvell Semiconductors, Nishant realised something — while technology had evolved, our approach to food hadn't. We'd made eating faster, but not necessarily better.

That's how his journey with Ethical Delights began — with the belief that real food shouldn't be a luxury. It should just be normal.
